Leadership Excellence
The Standard in Personal, Team and Organization Leadership
History of Leadership Excellence
In 1984 four men had a vision
that has shaped not only a company, but also the careers and successes of today’s
top business leaders. The men were Ken Shelton, Stephen R. Covey, Ken
Blanchard, and Charles Garfield. The idea was to redefine how businesses were
conducted, how people were motivated, and how success was achieved—all in the
pages of a monthly magazine called Leadership Excellence. At the time,
these men headed upstart companies, but they had sound ideas that they believed
would transform the business world.
They were right.
After 28 years, Leadership
Excellence continues to shape tomorrow’s leaders. Month after month, the
foremost minds on management and leadership share their breakthrough ideas. By
constantly publishing the best ideas from experienced consultants, trainers,
and business leaders, the magazine is shaping organizations throughout the
world.
But the magazine isn’t shaping
success alone. It works hand in hand with Personal Excellence (sister
publications), Sales & Service Excellence, and with books detailing
various issues, with motivational and informational seminars, and with a
personal plan to get results. All of these products are available online and at
our home office. These services give businesses an edge against the competition
by ensuring that all aspects of their changing needs are met. It’s our way of
building, not just inspiring, the successful leaders and companies of tomorrow.
Leadership Excellence will
continue to shape future business successes. Our mission (to help you find a
wiser, better way to live your life and lead your organization) is one of
positive growth and improvement. And as our 25-year track record shows, we’ve
found the means to lasting advancement. Continue browsing LeaderExcel.com to
